About the Program

This program is built for one purpose: to develop dominant, powerful football athletes.

This is a strength and force-production program designed to build bigger, stronger, more explosive players who impose their will on contact. We prioritize weight lifting, progressive overload, and high-intent power work to develop:

  • Maximal Strength – Building absolute force through squats, presses, pulls, and loaded carries.
  • Explosive Power – Translating raw strength into violent hip drive, punch power, and first-step dominance. 

  • Quick-Burst Acceleration – Building the lower-body strength and rate of force development needed to fire off the line, and explode out of the backfield.

This program includes:

  • One structured, in-person training session each week at The Combine.
  • A comprehensive training program for athletes to follow between Combine sessions to ensure continued progress in their independent workouts.

  • Nutrition guidance to help athletes properly fuel for performance, recovery, and strength development.

Performance Testing

The program begins with performance testing to establish a baseline, with retesting every 10 weeks to track progress. Athletes are evaluated in:

  • Pro Shuttle (5–10–5) for quickness and change of direction

  • Short Pro Lateral Shuttle (2.5–5–2.5) for lateral speed and agility.

  • 15 yrd Dash for acceleration and burst speed

  • Vertical Jump to measure lower-body power and explosiveness

  • Trap Bar Squat for lower-body strength
